Approaching Gioco Largo (Sidesword Apprentice)

Gioco Largo ("wide play") refers to the situations where the opponent's point is off of the centerline or their weapon is withdrawn in a position that requires they attack with large motions. In this series, we will learn how to approach an opponent that holds their sword withdrawn. We will explore how to attack their position and find safe ways to continue offensively.
