Philippo di Vadi's Assault (Longsword Scholar)

This month we will learn a Longsword Assaulto (form) that explores the guards, principles and techniques presented by Philippo di Vadi.

Through this form you'll come to understand some of the core teachings of Philippo di Vadi from his manuscript published in 1482. This is not an exhaustive study of the master but is instead an ideal way to understand his teachings and how they relate to the Academie Duello curriculum and concepts.

An apprentice level grounding in Duello longsword is recommended for this course.
