Powerful Wide Play 4: Moving into Stretto

A bonus course on how to move between gioco largo (wide play) and gioco stretto (narrow play) when you intend to and when forced into it by the opponent. Explore sequences of attacks and defenses and learn to create your own.

Learning to move between the wide, flowing and powerful actions of the wide play (gioco largo) and the tight controlling actions of the narrow play (gioco stretto) is an important skill. Neither form of play lives entirely on its own.

In this short bonus course you’ll learn some plays (sequences of actions) that take you between wide and narrow play and get some guidance on how you can build your own such sequences to further your own training and exploration.
