In this course you will learn the first assault of sword and buckler documented in Achille Marozzo’s 1535 book Opera Nova. This assault features attacks, defenses, feints, and various other strategies. It’s a great solo form and a tool for unlocking tactical and strategic ideas from this historical source.
First you’ll learn the entirety of the assault then we’ll break down the tactical actions contained in each part and look at how you can apply them to combat.
