Dual wielding of two equal length swords is a challenging and rewarding discipline. In this series you’ll learn the fundamentals of how to manage two swords in attack and defense following the Duello Armizare method and its connection to the ancient Bolognese two-sword tradition.

Students will learn:

  • The four closed positions
  • The core thrusting and counter-thrusting patterns
  • The core cutting patterns (cambiamenti)
  • Attacking and supporting
  • Strategies for entering

The techniques in this series are based on the Sidesword Fundamentals series. It is recommended students take that series or have related knowledge of the fundamental guards, cuts, and thrusts of the single Italian sidesword.
