Every joint has a job. In our longsword drill you’ll practice the use of the shoulder, elbow, and wrist for throwing cuts from the right and left and the body mechanics that make those cuts smooth and powerful. On the rapier side we’re coordinating both of our hands in the practice of the four closed positions (positions that protect with the offhand and sword together), today bringing cuts into the equation.
