Daily Drill

Our longsword exercise today is the first of two that focuses on a flowing type of feint that we call the "feint by stramazzone". This action is particularly good for drawing an opponent to parry too long and too far while allowing you to maintain momentum in your attack. For rapier we're warming up our lower body for strong and deep voids beneath the sword. This exercise is a great way to get ready for voids and to build greater depth and reach.
