The Vancouver Martial Challenge is a weekend focused on the joy of sparring in a relaxed and collaborative environment. Throughout the weekend there are also individual challenges between participants and personal challenges that up the stakes and create a spectacle for the event.

Martial Challenges and Sparring Gatherings

From June 3–5, Academie Duello will be hosting their first Vancouver Martial Challenge. This event is part of an alternative type of event I want to promote within the Historical European Martial Arts community: events that focus on combat within the realm of the martial art rather than the martial sport.

Vancouver Martial Challenge 2017 Report

At the end of July we hosted the Vancouver Martial Challenge at Academie Duello in Vancouver, and it was a tremendous weekend of inter-disciplinary sparring and camaraderie.
